SPEAKER BIO-NOTE

Prof. Ramesh Venkatraman is an Associate Professor (Off-Campus) in the Management Group, Work Integrated Learning Programmes Division (WILPD), BITS Pilani. He is based out of Chennai.

Prof. Ramesh Venkatraman holds an MBA from IIT-Madras and BE in Electronics & Communication Engineering from CIT-Coimbatore. He is also a Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) from QAI-USA, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA-USA. He joined BITS Pilani in Jan 2021, after 25+ years of experience in the IT Services industry, in progressive leadership roles in organizations such as Oriental Insurance IT Division, ANZ Grindlays Bank IT Division, Satyam, Infosys, Xansa (now Steria), HP, ORACLE, and LTI (now LTIMindree). He is a professional member of INDAM, ISACA, and SPIN.

He teaches courses in the areas of Consultancy Management, Digital Business, FinTech, and Quality Management. Additionally, he is the Programme Committee Lead, Experience Learning Lead, and Department Level Selection Committee Member in the WILPD-Management Group.
