Dr. Dujeepa D. Samarasekera
Dr. Dujeepa D. Samarasekera is a globally recognized leader in Medical and Health Professions Education with over 20 years of experience driving transformational initiatives in healthcare education. He currently serves as the Senior Director of the Centre for Medical Education (CenMED) at the National University of Singapore's Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, where he also leads Quality Assurance and Audit for Examinations.
As Editor-in-Chief of The Asia Pacific Scholar (TAPS) journal, Dr. Samarasekera has elevated regional scholarship in medical education. His expertise spans curriculum development, faculty development, accreditation processes, assessment framework design, and quality improvement methodologies.
Dr. Samarasekera's leadership extends across numerous prestigious roles, including serving as President of the Western Pacific Association of Medical Education (2018-2023) and as the inaugural Elected President of the College of Clinician Educators at the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. He founded the Asia Pacific Scholars Network and chairs the Asia Pacific Medical Education Conference (APMEC), the region's largest gathering of health professional educators.
