Dr. Balaji Kalluri, an Assistant Professor of Environment Studies at FLAME University, is a distinguished academic with a diverse background spanning systems engineering, urban futurism, and innovative education. His global perspective is informed by extensive international experience across 40 cities in 11 countries. Dr. Kalluri's multidisciplinary expertise encompasses urban futures, energy analysis, and risk management, supported by multiple postdoctoral positions and a Ph.D. in Building Science from the National University of Singapore.
As the founding director of KUDOS, an urban innovation studio, Dr. Kalluri leads research on sustainable urban development in the Global South. His academic excellence is evidenced by numerous prestigious awards, including fellowships from Innovation Fund Denmark and Singapore's Ministry of Education. Dr. Kalluri's scholarly contributions are significant, with publications in high-impact journals and conference proceedings, particularly in education's future and cyber-physical systems.
